In 2022-23 we had a girls' golf event, more football (including a girls' team), and swimming.  These activities could only happen through staff giving their time after school so a very big thankyou to Mr Pooley, Mr Fash-Hill, Miss Rushworth, Mrs Fell and Miss Grundy for running the football teams, netball and athletics clubs.

2023-24 was an exciting year for STAR MAT sport, with a new calendar of events held across the schools to offer participation and competition for Y2-Y6.  These included cheerleading, cross country, benchball, football, netball, athletics and tag rugby.  After school clubs were netball, football and girls' football as well as dance through an external provider.  We were also lucky enough to get tickets to the England Men's Rugby squad open training session at the LNER Stadium in York, and to take part again in the Brownlee Triathlon event.
