We were inspected by Ofsted in April 2024, and the report can be seen below.  This was a full 'graded' inspection with a team of inspectors over 2 days and we were very pleased that the school was found to be Good in all areas.

We had previously undertgone a 'no formal designation' inspection by Ofsted in June 2021 which looked at safeguarding in the school. Inspectors found safeguarding to be effective. The feedback letter from this inspection can also be accessed below:

Key Stage 2 Results 2024 (provisional)

• % of pupils who achieved the expected standard in reading - 80%
• % of pupils who achieved the expected standard in writing - 63%
• % of pupils who achieved the expected standard in maths - 85%
• % of pupils who achieved the expected standard in reading, writing & maths (combined) - 58%

• % of pupils who achieved the higher standard in reading - 25%
• % of pupils who achieved the higher standard in writing - 12%
• % of pupils who achieved the higher standard in maths - 30%
• % of pupils who achieved the higher standard in reading, writing & maths (combined) - 8%

Average scaled scores:

• Reading - 105
• Maths - 106

There is no progress data for 2024 due to Key Stage 1 assessments not being carried out for this group of children due to the pandemic in 2020.

The government did not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year due to the disruption to education during the pandemic). The last available public data is from the 2018 to 2019 academic year. It is important to note that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.
